Trixie is my bearded dragon. I rescued her in 2018 from a family that could no longer care for her. She was a bit dehydrated and not very active when I brought her home. After a few months, her color looked better. She was eating well and much more alert. Happiness is a bearded dragon!
Maya is my oldest cat. We found her feral in the neighborhood. She was very talkative and affectionate, and we assumed someone had lost her. We put up flyers around the neighborhood. Soon, we found her lost family. At first, it was a sad moment, but the family decided they could no longer care for her and offered her to us! Maya communicates better than any cat I have ever encountered. She trains us well!
Ollie and Nova are our newest additions to the household. These two kittens who came from a hoarding situation may or may not be litter-mates, but they certainly behave like brother and sister and are bonded- often sleeping together. Ollie is destined to be a large lap cat and Nova is an adventurer. Nova learns fast and watches Maya like a hawk-- learning her behaviors.
